Meet the Authors

I was born in Mexico to a French father and a Mexican mother, so I grew up surrounded by a wonderful blend of cultures, languages, and—of course—plenty of delicious food. Over the years, I’ve lived in Mexico, France, and Ireland, but now I call Washington State home. With a background in art preservation, I’ve always had a deep love for storytelling and creativity. These days, my life is filled with books, art, and the joyful chaos of raising two kids, a dog who thinks he’s a cat, a cat who thinks she’s in charge, and four little fish who somehow cause just as much trouble!

Fun fact: my dog is the main character in one of my picture books—can you guess which one? Oh, and my cat makes a short appearance in one of my stories too—she’s always up to something fun! And as the photo shows, just like every kid in the '80s, I had that iconic bowl cut! Luckily, I can choose my hairstyle now!
